Family Based: Mental Health Worker

The MHW will be responsible for providing direct in-home mental health services in a team-based, intensive therapy format. The MHW works in tandem with a partner to develop and implement treatment plans that address multidimensional levels of service to children at risk of out-of-home placement. 


At minimum, candidates for this position must have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Human Services, or a related field, and one year of direct service experience in a position that follows the core principles of the PA Child and Adolescent Service System Program.

Adoption & Permanency: Permanency Specialist

   The Permanency Specialist will provide various units of services as delineated by the PA Statewide Adoption Network. The Permanency Specialist is responsible for working with clients, families, county case workers, and other service providers to fulfill the requirements of the referred unit of service. The position will emphasize both timely, well-written reports and one on one client/Caseworker interactions.


A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, and experience is preferred.

JumpStart Daycare: Substitute Assistant Group Supervisor

   

The JumpStart Playschool at the Children's Aid Society of Mercer County has an opening for a Substitute Assistant Group Supervisor. The AGS will be expected to ensure the safety of all children in the center at all times, coordinate with other AGS staff to plan and implement lessons that meet the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of each child, and to communicate with parents. 


At minimum, candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or GED, 15 Credit Hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or Human Services field from an accredited college or university,1 year work experience with children, or commensurate education and experience as defined in PA Code Chapter 3270.36.

Administrative Assistant

   

CASMC is seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support under the general direction of the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will understand and support the mission of the Agency while contributing to the efficient operation of the office and promoting the Agency’s goals through professional service and communication.

The Administrative Assistant will:

Assist the Executive Director with special projects and administrative tasks, prepare, format, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested, maintain strict confidentiality regarding Agency information, clients, and operations. Monitor, coordinate, and maintain office equipment and supplies. Maintain and update Agency contact lists and related records. Oversee the distribution and inventory of office supplies. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director. 

Part-Time Position

Monday through Friday

11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

At minimum, candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or GED, have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
